Jeremy Belsky serves as Director of Gift & Estate Planning for Boys Town, a national nonprofit care organization whose mission is to “save children and heal families.” With an M.A. in Philanthropy & Development and the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation from The American College, Belsky has spent the past 19 years in the charitable gift planning field helping to serve the missions of education and faith based organizations, all in Omaha. His skill set to connect with donors and develop trust allows him to share charitable gift planning opportunities that leave more of their assets to family, charity, and community, and not the IRS. In just the past three years, Belsky has made engaging presentations for Crescendo Interactive (webinar and conference), Minnesota Planned Giving Council conference (keynote address and presentation), Association of Fundraising Professionals Nebraska Chapter, Omaha Estate Planning Council, Charitable Gift Planners of Nebraska, the Archdiocese of Omaha, and American Council on Gift Annuities national conference.
This 90 minute program will review new cases, rulings, news articles and more from the first four months of 2019. Included in the discussion will be an analysis of the proposed Sanders tax bill.
