InterActive Legal Tips and Tricks
July 29, 2022 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm EDT
Subscriber Drafting Webinars provide continued training on various aspects of using the InterActive Legal software, usually focusing on drafting particular documents or using certain drafting options. These webinars are free to ILS subscribers. They provide insight and training regarding specific documents and options available within the drafting systems. Subscribers will receive an email outlining the topic of each drafting webinar with instructions for registration.
Webinar Description
InterActive Legal Subscribers quickly learn that their drafting systems include hundreds of different drafting options, and remembering them all is challenging, if not impossible. In many cases, the program has an automatic solution for uncommon drafting situations (or at least a quick work-around) and we will discuss several examples in the July 2022 Subscriber Drafting Webinar. We’ll also cover some tips for easier program navigation and editing of documents in Microsoft Word after assembly.
This presentation will provide our content team’s best tips for the following topics, and more:
• Dealing with blended families
• Setting up trusts that terminate at various ages
• What if I need different trusts for children and grandchildren?
• Selecting either separate trusts or a pot trust for GST planning
• One click to make your assembled documents shorter
• Document Editing and Formatting Tips – including Footers!
• Can I create a flowchart?
• What most drafters miss when creating a mirror-image estate plan
• Navigation tips – where to click to avoid frustration
With the exception of the GST topic, all options we will cover in this webinar are available in all InterActive Legal practice systems. Join us to learn tips, tricks, and helpful hints that should streamline document generation.
