Subscriber Drafting Webinar: What’s New in InterActive Legal
April 29, 2022 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm EDT
Subscriber Drafting Webinars provide continued training on various aspects of using the InterActive Legal software, usually focusing on drafting particular documents or using certain drafting options. These webinars are free to ILS subscribers. They provide insight and training regarding specific documents and options available within the drafting systems. Subscribers will receive an email outlining the topic of each drafting webinar with instructions for registration.
Webinar Description
Within the past year, InterActive Legal has added new options, documents, and content to all of our practice systems. In this webinar, we will discuss these new drafting options, educational content, and other subscriber resources. Some new features allow drafters to create more robust estate planning documents, while others are intended to improve drafting efficiency. Join us for a review of these new options and resources:
- See the new Joint Revocable Trust structure for simple married couple estate plans, where all assets can be held in one common share until the surviving spouse dies, available in all practice systems.
- Review the new Wealth Transfer Planning option to add additional “flexible” beneficiaries in long-term trusts, which can enhance creditor protection and reduce overall income taxation.
- See a quick tour of InterActive Legal Online, which was launched in 2021 and provides a true cloud-based secure drafting platform.
- Check out the automated client intake form that imports automatically into InterActive Legal Online.
- Review new subscriber resources, such as our 2022 Sample Client Planning Letter, SECURE Act Proposed Regulations Memorandum, Flexible Trust Beneficiaries Description, and more!
- Preview our new website, where one login allows subscribers to access all InterActive Legal resources, recorded training, discussion forums, and the InterActive Legal Online drafting system.
If time permits, we may also preview some new developments that are expected later this year. We look forward to seeing you, and to sharing with you these new drafting tools.
